PREDATOR WATCH

NACA continues to fight and identify predatory lenders. You can help us target banks or other lending companies who are preying on people, and to identify trends with particular lenders and individuals. Please complete the form below if you have had direct experience with such a company. Identify the lender and state in your own words what they did. This could be any of the following:
  • Telling you terms that were changed at the closing
  • Promising to refinance and not following through
  • Providing a mortgage that would not be affordable after the initial period
  • Putting false income or other information on your application
  • Or any other scam.
Please provide as much detail as possible about these situations or anything else that happened that you felt was wrong. Also, on the following screen identify the lender and person that did this to you. Please attach any pictures you may have or can obtain of the person, the company or anything else that would expose them.

NACA ID:
Primary Lender:
Please describe how and why you obtained a mortgage that is unaffordable and/or predatory (current or previous loans). In your description, also provide as many details as you can recall of the following: promises made but not kept; told wrong information; asked to give wrong information; and impropper activities by the lender or broker.:
If you feel comfortable in holding people accountable for what was done to you, provide any pictures that would identify the individuals or companies responsible for your predatory loan(s). These pictures could be of the individuals responsible, the company's offices, or the homes of the CEO or individuals who preyed on you.:
