NACA Receives $1.8m Software Donation from Microsoft at American Dream Event for Homeowners & Homebuyers in Atlanta, Georgia

(Atlanta, Géorgie) – NACA will announce a software donation from Microsoft worth $1.8 million on Thursday September 26e at 2:00 p.m. at Americas Mart, Building 2 during NACA’s 121st American Dream Event.  Hundreds of homeowners and home buyers will be in attendance. NACA has built its state-of-the-art software program called NACA Lynx on Microsoft’s software platform which has been the foundation in providing affordable solutions to over 250,000 homeowners.

The software donation from Microsoft is valued at $1.8 million to the Neighborhood Stabilization Fund (NSF), which is an affiliate of the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA). The NSF and NACA (referred to as NACA) are nonprofit organizations dedicated to providing affordable homeownership for homebuyers and existing homeowners.  Microsoft’s technology will ensure that the operations and technologies are the best available which will enable NACA to create more affordable loans and loan modifications.

“NACA’s mission to provide affordable homeownership throughout the U.S. impacts many Americans.  This grant will modernize NACA’s systems with the latest technology and software and improve efficiency in support of its overall mission and initiatives,” said Microsoft Vice President Kirsten Kliphouse. “Our partners at Lender Processing Services helped us identify this tremendous opportunity to contribute to such a worthy and life-changing cause, and we’re thrilled to be able to help.”

“We are very appreciative of the partnership with both Microsoft and LPS, “said Bruce Marks, CEO of NACA.  “It’s not often that technology as provided by both Microsoft and LPS can have such a personal and direct impact in saving homes and saving lives.  This significant contribution is a great example of how leaders in technology are helping local communities find solutions to help homeowners and home buyers,” said Marks.

As an existing supporter of NACA, Lender Processing Services (LPS) helped identify this opportunity for Microsoft. “With common goals of promoting leadership in technology, we are all working collectively to provide enhancements through new technologies and solutions for the mortgage industry.” said Hugh Harris, President and CEO of LPS. “We commend Microsoft for this outstanding philanthropic initiative.”
