NACA’s Achieve the Dream Event in Savannah Continues to Create Homeowners

Hundreds Attend Event to Access NACA's Best in America Mortgage Program

(Savannah, GA) Hundreds of future homeowners have attended the first two days of NACA’s Achieve the Dream affordable homeownership event at the Savannah Convention Center, which is continuing as originally scheduled through tomorrow.

NACA, the nation’s largest HUD certified, non-profit housing counseling organization, has been in existence for more than thirty years, has fifty offices across the country and is in the process of opening a permanent location in Savannah.

The four-day event at the convention center is providing primarily low- and moderate-income homebuyers the opportunity to access NACA’s Best in America mortgage program, which features no down payment, no closing costs, no PMI, a fixed below market interest rate, and credit scores are not used. The program has more than $10 BILLION committed by Bank of America, and more than 75,000 homes have been purchased through the program so far.

During a press conference, NACA Founder and CEO Bruce Marks commented, “We are here breaking down the barriers that continue to prevent low and moderate income buyers and people of color from achieving the American Dream of homeownership.”

Roughly 100 Savannah area homebuyers participate in a workshop at NACA’s Achieve the Dream event.  The Workshop teaches buyers about NACA’s 30-plus year history and how the NACA program works.

The event will continue as scheduled through Sunday, with doors open 8:00 am to 8:00 pm each day. Information and registration can be found at www.naca.com. Walk-ins are welcome.
