City Of Atlanta to Announce Partnership with NACA To Bring “Save The Dream Tour” to the Georgia World Congress Center

NACA’s Save the Dream Event is the largest modification event offering Free Same Day Solutions for Homeowners with Unaffordable Mortgages

(Atlanta GA) – On Monday June 7º at 11:00 a.m. at Atlanta’s City Hall, 55 Trinity Avenue SE Atlanta, Mayor Kasim Reed, NACA CEO Bruce Marks and homeowners helped by NACA at their previous Atlanta event will announce the return of NACA’s Save the Dream Event.  NACA is the most effective organization in the nation in restructuring mortgages in making them affordable. Thousands of homeowners like Tonya Hicks from Atlanta say the Save the Dream Event threw her a lifeline.

“I was about to lose my home, but thanks to NACA and my lender, I’m saving $907 a month on my mortgage.  My family is thankful and relieved,” said Hicks, who is one of many who attended the event last year.

Atlanta Mayor Reed witnessed firsthand what NACA can do to help residents of Atlanta.  That’s why he is sponsoring the non profit group to bring their services back to the city.  “NACA provides the kind of solutions that can assist people who live in Atlanta to stay in the city with an affordable mortgage payment,” said Mayor Reed.

NACA’s Save the Dream events are incredible with thousands of people having their mortgage payment permanently reduced by over $500 and many by over $1,000 a month often with interest rates reduced to 3% or 2% and sometimes a principal reduction. Many receive a permanent restructure the same day. Thousands of homeowners are expected during this five day event that begins June 11º through June 15º at the Georgia World Congress Center. NACA and the nation’s major lenders, along with investors Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will be on hand to help restructure unaffordable mortgages for homeowners.

There will be hundreds of NACA counselors to determine an affordable mortgage payment for the borrower, and hundreds of staff from all the major lenders to process and approve these solutions.  NACA has legally binding contracts with all of the major lender/servicers, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to make mortgages affordable.  And all NACA services are FREE

“NACA has shown that a permanent modification for tens of thousands of borrowers is possible when you provide lenders with the proper tools and require them to make mortgages affordable,” said NACA CEO Bruce Marks. Marks has testified in congress about the effectiveness of the Save the Dream Tour and recommended ways for Congress to require lenders to restructure mortgages on a large scale. NACA’s Save the Dream Tour has been one shining light in the mortgage crisis.

NACA’s Save the Dream event runs 24 hours a day beginning Friday at 9 am and ending Tuesday at midnight, over 100 continuous hours.  The program is open to owner/occupants and non-investors.  Sign up at www.naca.com or call 888-499-6222.
