(Colombie, Caroline du Sud) Starting on Friday, March 13th at 9:00 a.m. through Monday, March 16e, the Carolina Coliseum (701 Assembly Street) in Columbia, South Carolina will turn into a mobile servicing operation enabling thousands of homeowners to lower their mortgage payments. Never before have hundreds of NACA’s mortgage counselors been paired with tens of thousands of homeowners from throughout the south east to help them permanently reduce their interest rates to less than five percent often to as low as three and two percent for the life of the loan. NACA’s unprecedented Save the Dream Event is in South Carolina at the invitation of House Majority Whip and South Carolina Congressman James E. Clyburn.
NACA has provided the best solution to tens of thousands of homeowners by permanently reducing interest rates and the outstanding principal when needed. Columbia homeowner Threasa Smith has already benefited from NACA’s best in the nation mortgage solution. NACA reduced her unaffordable mortgage payment to 3.75% fixed for the life of the loan. “It may sound too good to be true, but I’m living proof. I’m saving $400 a month and I’m excited to tell everyone that this free service exists,” said Smith.
More than eight thousand people have already registered for this event. The process is unique because it will provide homeowners with an unaffordable mortgage the opportunity to restructure their mortgage, many of them the same day. Tens of thousands of homeowners from throughout the southeast are expected to attend. Walk-ins are welcome and all services are free.
A Press Conference Scheduled at 2:30 pm at the Carolina Coliseum: NACA CEO Bruce Marks, along with Congressman James E. Clyburn and Congressman John Spratt, will update the public about the event and announce some of the new mortgage solutions homeowners have achieved thus far.
NACA’s restructure solution has established the national standard for long-term solutions for thousands of owner-occupant homeowners. NACA can do this because it has secured legally binding agreements with the country’s largest lenders/servicers covering over 90% of the at-risk homeowners. Lenders will stand by to approve solutions on the spot.
