504 Grievance Procedure
If you believe that you have been improperly treated in the course of your housing counseling as a result of your disability status, please take the following steps:
- Raise your concerns with your counselor and the Office Manager for the NACA office in which you are receiving counseling. When possible, put your concerns in writing. Your counselor, or your counselor’s supervisor, will respond to you within 10 days after receipt of your complaint. If you are not satisfied with the response you receive from your local NACA office, move to step 2.
- Contact Attorney Marissa Landrau Pirazzi (NACA’s 504 Coordinator) at [email protected], 225 Centre Street, Suite 100, Boston, MA 02119. Within 14 days, the 504 Coordinator will review NACA policies and procedures to determine whether your assertions have merit and make any corrections necessary to ensure compliance with section 504.
